ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පවතින ෆොසිල සම්පත් සංරක්ෂණ හා නැවත ගොඩනැගීමේ වැඩසටහන [ Paleontology and Fossils in Sri Lanka: Project Paleo Environment Reconstruction] ජෛව තාරකා විද්‍යා ආයතනයේ [ Eco Astronomy Inc] පර්යේෂකයන්ගේ මූලිකත්වයෙන් හා නවසීලන්තයේ Auckland University of Technology හි පර්යේෂකයන්ගේ දායකත්වය හරහා 2022 සිට ක්‍රියාත්මක වන ව්‍යාපෘතියක් වේ.  මෙහි තෙවන පියවර භෞතික වැඩමුළුවක් ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට අප ආයතනය සැළසුම්කර ඇත. Workshop in 3D-ANIMATED RECONSTRUCTION OF MEGAFAUNA FROM THE SABARAGAMUWA BASIN OF SRI LANKA. වැඩමුළුව 2026 නොවැම්බර් මස 20 වන දින උදෑසන 9 සිට 12.30 දක්වා ඇහැලියගොඩදී  ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ, මේ සඳහා ප්‍රධාන ආරධිතයා ලෙස නවසීලන්තයේ Auckland University of Technology විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ පර්යේෂකයෙකු වන ආචාර්ය ජේසන් කෙන්ඩි මහතා සහභාගී වීමට නියමිත වේ.

අප ආයතනය හරහා ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ පාඨමාලවල් සාර්ථකව නිමාකල සිසුන් වෙනුවෙන් සහතික පත්‍ර බෙදා දීමද එදින සිදුවේ. මේ සඳහා සහභාගී විය හැක්කේ ජෛව තාරකා විද්‍යා ආයතනයේ හා ABC STEM ආයතනයේ සිසුන්ට පමණක් බව කරුණාවෙන් සළකන්න. සහතික පත්‍ර ලබාගැනීමට පැමිණීමට නොහැකි සිසුන්ගේ සහතික පත්‍රය සුපුරුදු පරිදි තැපෑල හරහා ලැබීම සළස්වනු ඇත.

මෙදින අප ආයතනය හරහා සංරක්ෂණය කරන ලද ෆොසිල සාම්පල ඔබට දැකබලා ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව හිමිවන අතර වැඩළුවට සහභාහී වූ සිසුන් සඳහාද සහතික පත්‍රයක් ලබාදීම සිදුකරනු ඇත. මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වීම 2026 නොවැම්බර් මස තුන්වන [ 3^rd of November 2026] දිනට පෙර සිදුකළයුතු යුතු අතර  ලියාපදිංචි වීමේ ගාස්තුව රු 2500 බව කරුණාවෙන් සළකන්න. ලි‍යාපදිංචි වීම සඳහා පහත යොමුව වෙත පිවිසෙන්න. 

Announcement & Invitation: Workshop on 3D-Animated Reconstruction of Megafauna & Certificate Award Ceremony

We are pleased to share an update on the progress of our flagship initiative, “Paleontology and Fossils in Sri Lanka: Project Paleo-Environment Reconstruction.” Launched in 2022 to advance the conservation and reconstruction of Sri Lanka’s fossil resources, this ongoing research program is spearheaded by researchers at Eco Astronomy Inc. in collaboration with esteemed scholars from the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.

As part of the third phase of this project, Eco Astronomy Inc. warmly invites eligible students to an exclusive in-person workshop titled:

“Workshop in 3D-Animated Reconstruction of Megafauna from the Sabaragamuwa Basin of Sri Lanka”

2. Exhibition of Fossil Specimens: Attendees will have the unique opportunity to view preserved fossil specimens managed by our institution.
3. Certificate Award Ceremony: We will formally present certificates to students who have successfully completed courses conducted by Eco Astronomy Inc. Furthermore, certificates will be awarded to all participants of this workshop.

• Eligibility: Participation is strictly restricted to students of Eco Astronomy Inc. and the ABC STEM Institute.
• Absentee Certificates: For students unable to attend the ceremony in person, certificates will be dispatched via post following standard procedure.
