Advance Certificate Course in Multidisciplinary Astronomy and Space Science
We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Advanced Certificate Course in Multidisciplinary Astronomy and Space Science, conducted over the course of a year at the SITC (Space Innovation and Technology Center). This prestigious program featured a series of enlightening lectures delivered by a distinguished panel of local and international scientists, including representatives from NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).
The culmination of this rigorous academic journey was marked by the awarding of certificates to the deserving participants. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students who demonstrated exceptional dedication and successfully completed the course. Their hard work and commitment to advancing their knowledge in the field of astronomy and space science are truly commendable.
In addition to this achievement, we are thrilled to share that two outstanding students have been awarded scholarships to further their studies in Japan and China. This remarkable accomplishment reflects their exceptional talent and the high caliber of education provided through this program.
The event was graced by the presence of Aravinda Ravibhanu, an esteemed ambassador of The Mars Society – USA and Beijing Forestry University, who shared his insights and expertise with the participants. Additionally, Dr. Majda Outitan, Director of the International Research Unit for Eco Astronomy Inc contributed to the program through online technology, further enriching the learning experience.
This initiative was expertly organized under the leadership of Mr. Nimal Weerasinghe, Director of SITC, whose vision and dedication made this program a resounding success.
