On September 15, 2024, NASA’s Emeritus Professor Richard Hoover, a distinguished astrobiologist and physicist, alongside Aravinda Ravibhanu, a prominent astrobiologist, graced a special event at ABC Preschool in Eheliyagoda. Both renowned experts, who have inspired countless Sri Lankan students through the Astrobiological Investigation and Outreach Programme in Sri Lanka | 2024, shared their insights and passion for astrobiology, leaving a lasting impact on the young minds and educators present. Their visit underscored the importance of fostering scientific curiosity and exploration from an early age, further strengthening Sri Lanka’s engagement with cutting-edge astrobiological research.
